Kiandra Bowers Earns Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

Austin in the Southland standings. She had a season-high 30 points to go along with 16 rebounds in a 77-71 win over Abilene Christian last Wednesday. Two days later, Bowers registered 14 points and 17 boards in a 79-65 victory against then-undefeated SFA. The West Palm Beach, Fla., native is third in the nation in offensive rebounding, averaging 5.3 per game.
